Tian Gao

Tian Gao is a Berlin-based dancer originally from Wuhan, China. She hosts a master-degree at Folkwang University of Arts. Since 2018 she works as dancer with Sasha Waltz & Guests. As an individual artist she collaborated with companies and artists, such as Laborgras, Michael Laub/Remote Control Productions, Paper Tiger Collective. She has been collaborating with musicians and visual artists for her multidisciplinary projects and performed in Berlin, Essen, Wuppertal, Wuhan, Beijing, to only name a few. As choreographer she interests in finding the poetry of the body, as well as using the poetic body to reflect on social topics and relationships.
